Using lights for Shrimping and Fishing has been around for many years. In the old days the most common method was to hang a lantern over the side of a boat. Then came along halogen and florescent lights… along with noisy gas eating Generators...
These days new LED technology has done much to improve upon Shrimping and Fishing using underwater lights.
We tested all our lights is real word Shrimping and Fishing conditions. We tested them all with both motorcycle batteries and deep cycle marine battery's and they performed flawlessly with both. We tested our 1.5 amp lights on a single motorcycle battery or our 3.75 amp lights on a single marine batters.
The results were; we were able to use “THREE” 1.5 amp lights on a single motorcycle battery for “TWO" consecutive nights of shrimping and fishing.
And we were able to used “FIVE” 2.05 amp lights on a single marine battery for “THREE” consecutive nights of shrimping and fishing. So whichever light you choose, there is no need to worry about your marine battery not handling multiple lights at the some time on a single charge.
